Last week I wrote reflections on “Standing tall” and I was asked to elaborate on what that meant to me as a performer.

I hate drawing the curtains at night. I can't see out. The big beautiful expanse gets cut off.

Patience. Where did it go? I know process is essential. I know that stories take time. I know that creation is messy business.

... Creation welcomed us back again with a delicate thread of a story to pursue. Children are an imperative touchstone in my world.

When we gather with pure loving intention, there is power. We are no longer alone with our thoughts, beliefs, rants.

I am not big on the word “chance”. I firmly believe that things are “meant to be”.

My dearest companion, mentor, soul sister, Sally Truss has invited me to back her up on her latest recording called “Roots and Boots”.

Time. There’s never enough. I always feel behind so, I procrastinate. Does that make any sense? Not really.

The 60s are here, man! Yes, I have officially entered that decade with humour, energy and, I must admit, a lot of sass!!

This past week has been fueled with reconnecting and tremendous encouragement from my growing mentor pool to get those boots on! Yeehaw!

As some of you already know, 60up is all about challenging myself emotionally, spiritually, intellectually and, God forbid, physically!

I love gardening! Well, let’s rephrase that, I love the way I garden.
